You’ll work hands-on with Rust and modern Java to build performance frameworks and tooling that support multiple trading platforms. The work focuses on microsecond-scale latency, kernel-level performance, and scalable data processing, enabling cross-team engineering decisions and optimizations. This is a hands-on, impact-driven position in a fast-paced, latency-sensitive setting.

Responsibilities
  • Develop Rust and Java frameworks for low-latency systems
  • Build event-sourced components operating in the 10–100 μs range
  • Create market-data replay, backtesting, and simulation tooling
  • High-performance market-data processing and optimization
  • Linux kernel and systems-level performance tuning
  • TCP/IP networking and kernel-bypass technologies
  • Performance profiling, benchmarking and latency reduction
  • Contribute to frameworks and tooling used by 100+ technology teams
Key requirements
  • Rust, modern Java or C++
  • Experience with low-latency/high-throughput systems
  • Background in algorithmic trading or latency-sensitive environments
  • Market-data technologies
  • Linux internals and kernel behavior
  • TCP/IP networking
  • Solarflare/OpenOnload or similar kernel-bypass technologies
  • KDB or other time-series databases
