Senior Machine Learning Biologist

Fully remote Senior Computational Biologist work centers on machine learning and biological data analysis across complex datasets. Apply Python or R to advance computational research.

This senior position focuses on applying machine learning to biological problems. You will analyze genomics, transcriptomics, and proteomics data while collaborating with biologists, chemists, and data scientists. The work supports insights relevant to drug discovery and personalized medicine.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize machine learning models for biological datasets
• Design computational experiments to identify patterns and predict outcomes
• Process and analyze large, complex biological datasets
• Collaborate with scientists to define computational research approaches
• Communicate findings through presentations, reports, and publications

Requirements:

• PhD in computational biology, computer science, bioinformatics, statistics, or related field
• Five years of postdoctoral or industry machine learning experience
• Strong Python or R programming and machine learning library experience
• Experience with deep learning, random forests, SVMs, and statistical modeling
• Understanding of molecular biology, genomics, or related domains
