Senior Machine Learning Developer

Build production optimization applications at ServiceNow using advanced algorithms, Python, APIs, and reliable machine learning systems at scale. Apply an AI-native approach across development and delivery.

As a Machine Learning Developer, you will design, build, ship, and operate model-driven applications. You will solve scheduling and resource-allocation problems while directing AI coding agents. The work combines algorithm development, evaluation, production reliability, and customer-facing delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design optimization applications for production deployment at scale
• Develop APIs, data ingestion, multiprocessing, and automated testing
• Build evaluation systems for model behavior and feature confidence
• Specify AI agent tasks and review outputs for correctness
• Monitor availability, manage deployments, and respond to customer issues

Requirements:

• Five or more years of related experience
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field
• Strong object-oriented programming, algorithms, system design, and testing
• Strong Python experience; Java or Kubernetes experience is beneficial
• Experience developing reliable, resilient mission-critical systems
