Senior Manager AI Engineering

As Senior Manager, AI Engineering at Thomson Reuters, you will build and lead engineers across AI, backend services, data processing, and platform modernization. You will shape technical strategy for Westlaw’s KeyCite capability and help evolve legal research through trusted AI. Key Responsibilities:

• Hire, mentor, and develop backend, platform, and AI engineers
• Set scalable technical strategy and roadmap for KeyCite
• Productionize generative AI and machine learning capabilities
• Modernize processing, publishing, and platform services
• Establish standards for reliability, testing, and AI evaluation

Requirements:

• 10+ years’ experience and 7+ years in software engineering
• 2+ years managing teams of 10 or more people
• Hands-on proficiency in Python and Java
• Experience with scalable backend or distributed systems
• Strong cloud experience, preferably AWS
