Senior Manager AI Engineering KeyCite

Lead AI engineering for KeyCite, combining Python, Java, and scalable backend systems in a hands-on technical leadership role.

As Senior Manager, AI Engineering, you will build and lead engineers across AI, data processing, backend services, and platform modernization. You will shape technical direction for KeyCite, a foundational Westlaw capability helping legal professionals navigate authority. The work spans generative AI, machine learning, and trusted legal workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Hire, mentor, and develop backend, platform, and AI engineers
• Set scalable technical strategy and roadmap with partner teams
• Lead generative AI and machine learning productionization
• Modernize processing, publishing, and platform services
• Establish architecture, reliability, testing, and AI evaluation standards

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience, including 7+ years in software engineering
• 2+ years managing teams of 10 or more people
• Hands-on Python, Java, and scalable distributed systems experience
• Strong cloud experience, preferably AWS
• Machine learning or generative AI production experience
