In this Senior Manager role, you will lead complex AWS-based cloud transformations for tier-1 clients, shaping enterprise cloud strategy and governance. You work with senior stakeholders to define architecture standards and drive secure, scalable AWS designs. You mentor teams and advocate modern cloud-native practices, delivering measurable outcomes across cost, performance, and resilience. This position offers leadership across major programmes with access to global cloud expertise and clear progression.

Responsibilities
  • Define AWS cloud strategy, governance and enterprise architecture standards
  • Lead large-scale cloud transformations including legacy modernization and data centre exits
  • Design secure, scalable and highly available AWS architectures
  • Shape cloud solutions across applications, data, AI, security and integration
  • Present architecture and strategy to executive stakeholders
  • Drive cloud cost optimization, resilience, performance and observability
  • Mentor architects, managers and consultants across the wider team
  • Help clients adopt modern cloud-native technologies and engineering practices
Key requirements
  • Significant experience designing and implementing AWS solutions
  • Strong enterprise/solution architecture background
  • AWS Professional or Associate certification
  • Strong knowledge of cloud security, IAM, encryption and compliance
  • Experience across application, data and integration architecture
  • Understanding of AI/ML and modern data platforms
  • Experience with serverless, containers, microservices and CI/CD
  • Strong knowledge of resilience, disaster recovery and non-functional requirements
  • Confident engaging with C-suite and senior technical stakeholders
  • Consultancy or large-scale transformation experience is highly advantageous
  • Azure/GCP or AWS Specialty certifications would be a plus
