Senior Manager Market Data Engineering

Lead market data engineering in Toronto with Scotiabank, applying capital markets expertise to Asset Control pipelines and governed data feeds.

As Senior Manager, Market Data Engineering, you will design, integrate, and manage market and reference data ingestion. You will connect Bloomberg, LSEG, and internal systems while supporting scalable data delivery. The work serves trading, risk, compliance, reporting, regulatory, and analytics platforms across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain Asset Control ingestion and distribution pipelines
• Integrate Bloomberg, LSEG, and internal source systems
• Normalize, enrich, and persist market and reference data
• Manage CUSIP, ISIN, FIGI, and Sedol identifiers
• Guide engineers through standards, reviews, and delivery practices

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on Bloomberg and LSEG integration experience
• Knowledge of security and instrument reference data
• Understanding of Equities, Fixed Income, FX, and Derivatives
• Experience building scalable pipelines in distributed platforms
• Experience with quality, reconciliation, lineage, and controls
