Senior Manager Mortgage Enforcement

Lead mortgage enforcement operations at CIBC using legal judgment, risk analysis, and strategic team leadership in a hybrid Toronto work arrangement.

As Senior Manager, Mortgage Enforcement, you will oversee judicial sale and power of sale proceedings across Canada. You will guide complex files requiring legal intervention, supporting court activities and regulatory compliance. The work includes partnerships with legal teams, external counsel, court officials, government authorities, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead judicial sale and power of sale enforcement proceedings
• Oversee court documents, affidavits, evidence, orders, and timelines
• Set team direction, priorities, and performance expectations
• Strengthen policies, procedures, reporting, governance, and compliance
• Analyze portfolio trends, risks, controls, and improvement opportunities

Requirements:

• Significant mortgage enforcement, foreclosure, judicial sale, or power of sale experience
• Strong knowledge of mortgage law and enforcement procedures
• Experience developing goals, coaching employees, and inspiring performance
• Strong written, verbal communication, collaboration, and judgment skills
• Ability to manage risk, competing priorities, and continuous improvement
