Overview
As a Senior Lead Software Engineer in the PTT team, you will guide cross-functional groups to deliver secure, scalable technology products. You’ll shape architecture, drive engineering decisions, and mentor peers to adopt best practices across the SDLC. You will work on diverse tech stacks to ensure production-ready, high-quality software in a regulated financial services context. Your role combines technical leadership with a focus on reliability, security, and impact, within a collaborative, inclusive culture.
Responsibilities- Provide technical guidance to business, technical teams, contractors, and vendors
- Develop secure, high-quality production code and review others’ work
- Drive decisions shaping product design, functionality, and operations
- Serve as SME in one or more focus areas
- Advocate firmwide SDLC frameworks, tools, and practices
- Influence peers to adopt leading-edge technologies
- Contribute to a culture of diversity, inclusion, and respect
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts
- Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Advanced experience with Java, Spring Boot, React, and Kubernetes
- Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Advanced understanding of agile methodologies, CI/CD, resiliency, and security
- Proficiency in cloud-native/technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, AI/ML, mobile)
- In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and IT systems
