Senior Manager - Programme Manager – Pensions Data Migration

As Programme Manager, you will lead complex, technology-enabled transformation programmes within UK Insurance, with a focus on pensions data migration. You will govern multi-workstream delivery, manage senior client relationships, and coordinate cross-functional teams and third-party partners to realise benefits. The role emphasizes data migration strategy, cutover planning, and regulatory data integrity, with opportunity to shape pensions administration programmes at scale. You will operate in a collaborative, high-impact environment that values practical, data-driven delivery.

• Direct programme direction across mobilization, planning, governance, delivery, and benefits realisation
• Manage senior client relationships with Programme Sponsors and Operations Directors
• Coordinate integrated delivery with Accenture, client teams and third-party suppliers
• Lead multi-disciplinary delivery teams to ensure quality and sustained performance
• Provide thought leadership on programme delivery best practices, especially data migration approaches and cutover planning
• Own complex, multi-workstream delivery aligned to client outcomes, quality standards and commercial objectives
• Establish and run programme governance including steering groups, risk/issue and dependency management
• Oversee budgets, resource plans, milestones, and delivery predictability
• Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and manage supplier dependencies
• Provide visible leadership during critical delivery events such as testing, data migration, cutover and go-live
• Mentor and develop delivery managers and leads within the team

• Proven experience directing data migration programmes including migration strategy, cutover planning, dual-running, reconciliation and data quality assurance
• Proven track record as Programme Manager or Senior Delivery Lead on complex technology-enabled transformations in Financial Services
• Experience managing programme budgets, delivery forecasts, changes and senior-level reporting
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence senior client stakeholders
• Strong supplier management across technology partners and delivery centres
• Experience shaping governance across workstreams including data migration, testing, change management and deployment
