Senior Manager Security Operations

Lead BDO’s security operations function across Calgary, Edmonton, or Halifax, directing threat detection, incident response, and operational security processes.

As Senior Manager, Security Operations, you will establish strategic direction and service standards for cybersecurity monitoring and response. You will manage operational cyber risk, oversee enterprise security technologies, and partner with technology, business, and internal teams. The position also includes developing security professionals and communicating metrics, risks, and incident findings to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead security operations strategy, processes, and service delivery standards
• Oversee security monitoring and threat detection capabilities
• Direct incident investigation, containment, recovery, and reviews
• Manage third-party providers, technology partners, and internal relationships
• Build, coach, and develop a high-performing security team

Requirements:

• Degree in cybersecurity, information technology, computer science, engineering, or related field
• Minimum 10 years of progressive cybersecurity experience
• Experience with security operations, incident response, threat management, and cyber defense
• Knowledge of vulnerability management, frameworks, standards, and best practices
• Experience securing complex enterprise and cloud environments
