As an AWS Platform Engineer at Deloitte, you design and maintain scalable AWS-based platforms and pipelines to solve complex client challenges. You work with cross-functional teams of experts to deliver robust cloud solutions, from design through deployment and ongoing optimization. You’ll contribute to AWS capability development, pre-sales activities, and knowledge sharing to drive client value. Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality AWS solutions, platforms and pipelines
  • Participate throughout the software development lifecycle from design to deployment and maintenance
  • Provide technical insight during system design
  • Write well-documented code and contribute to technical documentation
  • Troubleshoot issues and maintain smooth operation of live services
  • Stay up to date with AWS services to enhance client capabilities
  • Actively contribute to the engineering community
  • Contribute to pre-sales activities, including bid documentation, RFIs, RFPs, and client presentations
  • Improve Deloitte's AWS capabilities, methodologies, and intellectual property
Key requirements
  • Solid experience in IT infrastructure and cloud engineering with cloud management principles
  • Track record designing, building, and maintaining AWS-based platforms
  • Hands-on AWS experience with core services (EC2, EKS, RDS, Redshift, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda, App Runner/Fargate)
  • Proficiency in IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK)
  • Background in CI/CD pipeline design and automation (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CodePipeline, CodeBuild)
  • Understanding of networking, security, and identity management in cloud environments
  • Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch, X-Ray)
  • Experience with Git and scripting languages (Python, Bash, Go)
  • Ability to troubleshoot and optimize workloads on AWS
  • AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect – Associate or CloudOps Engineer – Associate) or active progress towards
