- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality AWS solutions, platforms and pipelines
- Participate throughout the software development lifecycle from design to deployment and maintenance
- Provide technical insight during system design
- Write well-documented code and contribute to technical documentation
- Troubleshoot issues and maintain smooth operation of live services
- Stay up to date with AWS services to enhance client capabilities
- Actively contribute to the engineering community
- Contribute to pre-sales activities, including bid documentation, RFIs, RFPs, and client presentations
- Improve Deloitte's AWS capabilities, methodologies, and intellectual property
- Solid experience in IT infrastructure and cloud engineering with cloud management principles
- Track record designing, building, and maintaining AWS-based platforms
- Hands-on AWS experience with core services (EC2, EKS, RDS, Redshift, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda, App Runner/Fargate)
- Proficiency in IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK)
- Background in CI/CD pipeline design and automation (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CodePipeline, CodeBuild)
- Understanding of networking, security, and identity management in cloud environments
- Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch, X-Ray)
- Experience with Git and scripting languages (Python, Bash, Go)
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize workloads on AWS
- AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect – Associate or CloudOps Engineer – Associate) or active progress towards
