Senior Mechanical Building Systems Designer

Design sustainable heating, cooling, plumbing, and low-carbon energy systems with Introba using Revit, AutoCAD, and engineering calculations. Collaborate across disciplines on institutional buildings.

As a Senior Mechanical Designer, you will help develop innovative energy systems and high-performance buildings. The work includes schematic design, equipment selection, drafting, coordination, and project delivery. You will guide Junior and Intermediate Designers while supporting quality design packages for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and review heating, cooling, and ventilation load calculations
• Prepare mechanical and plumbing schematic and final designs
• Create equipment schedules, motorlists, specifications, and selections
• Review shop drawings, RFIs, and construction changes
• Coordinate disciplines, utilities, clients, and design staff

Requirements:

• Five-plus years designing HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems
• Mechanical Engineering degree or technology diploma
• Experience with 2D AutoCAD, 3D Revit, and equipment selection
• Ability to apply plumbing, building, and sprinkler codes
• P.Eng. or A.Sc.T. credentials highly preferred
