Mechanical Engineer – Sensor Mechanical Design

Location: Moorestown, NJ

Duration : Long term

Experience: 6+ years

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to support the design, analysis, verification, integration, and production of mechanical structures, enclosures, and electronic modules within a Sensor Mechanical Design organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical structures, enclosures, and electronic modules.
• Perform 3D mechanical modeling and detailed design using CREO .
• Perform thermal and structural analysis/FEA using ANSYS .
• Support design verification, requirements verification, integration, and testing.
• Develop engineering drawings, models, and technical data packages.
• Participate in design reviews and provide engineering recommendations.
• Work with Systems, Electrical Engineering, Drafting, Manufacturing/Operations, and suppliers.
• Support laboratory, test facility, production, and supplier activities.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of hands-on CREO experience for mechanical modeling/design.
• 3+ years of hands-on ANSYS experience .
• Strong thermal analysis and structural analysis/FEA experience.
• Mechanical design experience involving structures, enclosures, or electronic modules .
• Experience with design verification, integration, and testing.
• Strong cross-functional engineering experience.

Preferred

• Sensor or electronic packaging experience.
• GD&T and engineering drawing experience.
• Experience supporting PDR/CDR or formal design reviews.
• Manufacturing/production support experience.
