Senior Microservices Software Engineer

Build Spring-based microservices and secure RESTful APIs remotely from Toronto, helping deliver scalable enterprise applications for critical business capabilities.

This Senior Full Stack Developer position combines backend engineering with modern web development and Agile collaboration. You will develop Java services, create responsive Angular or React interfaces, and work with architects, product owners, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams. The role includes production support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and support Spring Boot microservices-based applications
• Secure RESTful APIs with authentication and authorization frameworks
• Design scalable interfaces using Angular and/or React
• Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
• Participate in code reviews and software engineering practices

Requirements:

• Six or more years developing software with Java
• Hands-on Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Security experience
• Knowledge of SQL optimization and ORM frameworks
• Experience with AWS or Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
