As a Senior Mission & Information Systems Engineer, you will lead cross-team delivery for mission systems and simulation-focused training capabilities. You’ll steer the Logical Domain, translating concepts into deliverable solutions and handling system design artefacts and MBSE-based models. Your work connects aircraft mission systems with programme requirements to ensure robust, high-quality outcomes. This role offers a chance to shape multi-site mission systems within a growing team and work on important defence-focused challenges.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate delivery teams and oversee Mission Systems ETS simulation for training and rehearsal
- Produce design review artefacts to required maturity
- Provide inputs to management and technical reviews
- Collaborate with partners on models and designs using MBSE
- Oversee Air System Specification and requirements flow
- Manage risks, critical decisions, issues, and recovery actions
- Deliver outputs, support reviews, and engage cross-discipline stakeholders
- Support and guide junior engineers in daily tasks
Key requirements
- Proven experience leading and managing teams
- Degree or HNC in a relevant STEM subject
- Experience in aerospace or a similar engineering/technology industry
- Good systems engineering and lifecycle knowledge
- Ability to research and apply system design data to complex problems
- Knowledge/experience in mission systems and simulation tools
- Leadership and team collaboration
