Overview

In this role you will design, build, and maintain high-quality Android apps using Kotlin within a mobile development team. You will contribute to cross-platform initiatives via Kotlin Multiplatform, expanding reach and efficiency for client projects. You’ll collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to translate requirements into scalable mobile solutions, while upholding best practices, testing, and documentation. This is a hands-on opportunity to shape modern mobile experiences in a consultancy setting.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop robust Android applications with Kotlin following best practices and architecture patterns
  • Integrate and maintain Firebase services
  • Develop and maintain cross-platform solutions using Kotlin Multiplatform to maximize code reuse
  • Improve existing mobile solutions by identifying enhancements and implementing tech improvements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable mobile solutions
  • Write clean, maintainable code with tests and documentation
  • Participate in code reviews and drive continuous improvement of development processes
  • Support clients in understanding mobile best practices and standards
  • Troubleshoot performance and UX issues to optimize apps
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and evaluate emerging technologies
Key requirements
  • Proven experience developing production Android apps with Kotlin
  • Hands-on Kotlin Multiplatform development
  • Hands-on experience with Google Firebase
  • Experience enhancing and optimizing mobile solutions
  • Strong understanding of mobile development principles and UI/UX considerations
