Senior Mobile Engineer

In this role you will design and build scalable mobile experiences used by millions, working closely with engineering and product leadership. You’ll influence architecture, drive technical discovery, and lay foundations for Checkout.com’s consumer products. Expect end-to-end feature ownership, cross-functional collaboration with backend teams, and a focus on performance, reliability, and developer experience. • Architect and build mobile experiences used by millions of users worldwide
• Own end-to-end feature development from discovery to maintenance
• Collaborate with backend teams to align systems with mobile product evolution
• Champion best practices in testing, monitoring, and release strategy
• Mentor peers, review code, and contribute to the mobile tech vision

• Solid background in React Native for scalable, high-performance consumer apps
• Proven track record in mobile development across native iOS and Android
• Experience building and maintaining mobile apps or SDKs with a large active user base
• Strong focus on developer experience: clear APIs, good docs, reliability at scale
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration with product, design, and backend teams
