Senior Murex MxML engineer

In this role, you will design and implement Murex MX templates and mappings to support cross-asset trading, risk, and processing. You’ll simplify and automate MX message workflows, bridging MT templates with MX formats across production environments. You will work with front-to-back teams to enhance MX packages and create new templates, delivering real-time interfaces and robust error handling. This position offers ownership of critical MX developments and opportunities to train support teams and share knowledge. You will contribute to smooth live operations and ongoing enhancements within a banking/treasury setting.

• Consolidate MT messages into MX format across products and entities
• Perform gap analysis of existing MT mappings for MX adaptation
• Enhance Murex MX package with product-specific mappings
• Develop new MX templates for uncovered message types
• Create ACK/NACK mappings for payment flow status changes
• Automate MXML or Unix shell scripts for real-time interfaces
• Simplify MX message workflow generation and ACK/NACK processes
• Clean up unused workflows
• Transfer knowledge to EAD developers and train Support
• Provide post-live support and implement enhancements as needed

• 6+ years of application development experience in banking/treasury environment
• Experience with MX2.11 and MX3.1
• Back Office MXML (Workflow, Interfaces & Templates) and Datamart Configuration & Development
• Strong error handling capabilities
• Treasury product experience
• Proficient in coding and programming
