Build enterprise web applications with .NET, Azure, and SQL Server for the Central Agencies Cluster. This is a five-day onsite assignment in Toronto.

The Senior Software Developer translates technical specifications into tested applications for the Ministry of Treasury Board Secretariat. You will work across C#, ASP.NET, Web APIs, Azure services, SQL Server, and the Software Development Life Cycle. The assignment runs from November 16, 2026, through August 20, 2027.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate technical specifications into working, tested applications
  • Develop programming specifications and generate application code
  • Compile data-driven programs and conduct unit testing
  • Design and optimize SQL Server databases and queries
  • Troubleshoot software issues through deployment and production support

Requirements:

  • Strong .NET, C#, ASP.NET, and Web APIs experience
  • Hands-on Microsoft Azure services experience
  • Strong SQL Server and relational database design experience
  • Experience across design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
  • Ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders
