Senior .NET Site Reliability Engineer

Porter is hiring an experienced Site Reliability Engineer in Toronto, focused on .NET software development, cloud reliability, and production performance.

This hands-on engineer improves a modern cloud platform supporting thousands of users. You will collaborate with Software Developers, Cloud Engineers, and Cybersecurity. The work emphasizes automation, observability, production troubleshooting, and scalable AWS services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build reliable and available production services
• Troubleshoot application and platform issues through root cause
• Develop automation for repetitive operational work
• Administer Dynatrace, Splunk, dashboards, alerts, and metrics
• Participate in incident response and on-call rotations

Requirements:

• Strong .NET and C# software development experience
• Experience supporting production applications
• Experience with AWS, ECS, EC2, and CloudWatch
• Knowledge of Terraform, Terragrunt, CI/CD, and Docker
• Experience with Windows Server, IIS, and scripting
