Build low-latency backend systems at Crescendo Technology in Toronto using Microsoft .NET, distributed systems, React, and TypeScript.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will develop business components and services for real-time trading, risk management, and core platform services. You will work across backend architecture, cloud-native technologies, and user-facing applications. The work includes requirements analysis, design, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design reliable backend systems using Microsoft .NET
  • Develop React and TypeScript front-ends for trading data
  • Build, deploy, and operate cloud-native services
  • Integrate RabbitMQ, Redis, and relational databases
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers

Requirements:

  • Five or more years developing software with Microsoft .NET
  • Two or more years using modern front-end frameworks
  • Strong TypeScript proficiency regardless of framework
  • Computer Science or related degree or diploma
  • Experience with scalable, high-performance distributed systems preferred
