Overview

As Senior Network Administrator at KBR, you will manage and secure the enterprise network infrastructure to ensure reliability and performance. You will work within cross-functional teams to support data centre, cloud, and hybrid connectivity initiatives. You’ll tackle complex operational issues and contribute to infrastructure modernization efforts. This role offers impact through reinforcing security, resilience, and service availability in a global, mission-focused environment.

Responsibilities
  • Administer LAN, WAN, wireless and data centre networks; manage routing, switching, SD-WAN and identity-aware networking
  • Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain network infrastructure; perform lifecycle management and technology refresh
  • Manage network security technologies (firewalls, VPNs, secure remote access); enforce segmentation and access controls
  • Support data centre and cloud networking; administer load balancing and application delivery
  • Collaborate with server/storage/cloud/cybersecurity teams to ensure reliable operations and dependencies
  • Monitor network health, diagnose complex issues, and participate in incident, change, and problem management
  • Contribute to disaster recovery, resilience, and security initiatives; support recovery testing and business continuity
  • Provide technical guidance and independent problem solving; contribute to standards and modernization initiatives
Key requirements
  • Strong hands-on experience with enterprise networking
  • Experience with routing, switching, segmentation, secure connectivity
  • Experience with network access control and identity-aware networks
  • Experience with firewalls, VPNs, secure remote access
  • Experience with load balancing and application delivery technologies
  • Experience with cloud networking (hybrid connectivity)
  • Experience with Windows, Linux and virtualization in enterprise environments
  • Familiarity with IT service management and structured operational environments
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
