Senior Network Engineer

Senior Network / Infrastructure Engineer Leicester Hybrid £50,000-£60,000

We're partnering with a highly reputable organisation near Leicester to recruit a Senior Network / Infrastructure Engineer .

This is a hybrid role with 2 days working from home after probation , offering the opportunity to work within a large-scale enterprise environment supporting 7,000+ endpoints, 1,600+ Cisco LAN devices and 220+ WAN links across the UK .

The Role

You’ll act as a senior escalation point , providing technical leadership while designing, implementing, maintaining and optimising critical network and infrastructure services.

Key Skills & Experience

• Advanced hands‑on Cisco networking experience.
• Strong LAN/WLAN/WAN troubleshooting across multiple sites.
• Advanced routing: BGP, EIGRP & OSPF .
• Network design, implementation and optimisation.
• Strong understanding of network security .
• CCNA, CCNP or equivalent experience .
• Experience with Cisco Catalyst and Wireless .
• Knowledge of Cisco Firepower FMC, ISE and ISE-PIC highly desirable.
• Experience with Azure / hybrid environments .
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to handle complex escalations.
• Previous experience providing technical leadership or mentoring .
