Senior Network Engineer

As Senior Network Engineer you will uphold Exegy's network infrastructure, handling administration, device upkeep, and vendor collaboration to keep services running smoothly. You will operate in a fast-paced setting, supporting production, corporate, and development networks while contributing to planning and execution of network initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to enable product delivery and reliability. This role blends hands-on engineering with project planning to sustain and scale Exegy's network services.

• Provide day-to-day support to the Network Engineering team across production, corporate and development networks
• Perform network administration and maintain devices and systems to enable design and handover for products to vendors
• Collaborate with vendors to troubleshoot, resolve issues, and rollout changes to hosted production environments
• Plan and implement network changes to support business decisions

• 5+ years in a hosted services environment with infrastructure networks, hardware and telecoms
• Degree in Computer Science, Software or Electronic Engineering or related discipline
• Strong experience installing, configuring, and maintaining network services and devices
• Experience with Juniper, Cisco, Arista switching
• Mellanox InfiniBand experience is a plus
• Multicast experience desired
• RoCE experience is a plus
• Experience with routing protocols (BGP/OSPF)
• Subnetting, VLANs, VLAN tagging, NAT
• IPSec VPNs and GRE tunneling
• Knowledge of network security practices
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders across teams in a fast-paced environment
• Systematic information gathering for troubleshooting
• Datacenter experience including racking and patching devices
• Experience configuring Fortinet, Check Point, Juniper SRX, and Cisco ASA firewalls
