Senior Network Engineer Fintech BGP Multicast

In this role you design, deploy, and support high-performance network infrastructure for a leading trading technology client. You will work across internal teams and external partners to automate, secure, and optimize low-latency networks. The role focuses on implementing scalable configurations, resolving escalated issues, and contributing to a fast-paced, collaboration-driven environment. • Design and deploy customer networks with a focus on automation, security, and operability
• Improve overall network infrastructure to achieve low latency
• Support internal and external customer-facing issues
• Manage tickets related to customer and carrier events
• Create valid configurations based on designs or concepts
• Assist in deployment and maintenance of switches, routers, firewalls, and other network devices
• Apply configuration changes via change control processes
• Install network hardware and software
• Perform daily network infrastructure changes with minimal guidance
• Participate in daily change review meetings

• 10 years of ISP/large NOC experience
• 5–7 years with Juniper, Arista, and/or Cisco hardware/software
• CCIE or JNCIE or equivalent knowledge
• Strong knowledge of IP protocols (ICMP, UDP, TCP)
• Experience with firewalls and VPNs
• Routing protocols (BGP, OSPF)
• Multicast routing (IGMP, PIM)
• NAT (static and dynamic)
• Network sniffing and TCP/IP analysis
• Linux familiarity or scripting interest (Bash or Python)
• Experience with ticketing (JIRA) and change control processes
