Senior Network Specialist Fortinet

Fortinet networking expertise drives this Senior Network Specialist role in Halifax or Moncton, with hybrid work requiring four onsite days weekly.

Bulletproof seeks a senior networking professional to divide time between technical support and project work. You will manage escalated network tickets while designing, implementing, and improving secure environments. The role requires customer service, communication, and hands-on experience with FortiGate, FortiSwitch, and FortiAP platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and support secure WAN, LAN, WLAN, and SD-WAN environments
• Deploy enterprise wireless solutions and provide senior technical escalation
• Support Bulletproof’s NOC systems and client monitoring procedures
• Conduct security assessments, firewall audits, and configuration hardening
• Implement segmentation, NAC policies, and tuned security profiles

Requirements:

• Minimum five to seven years of networking experience
• Degree, diploma, certificate, relevant experience, or industry certification
• Networking experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, and Fortinet technologies
• Advanced routing knowledge including OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, and SD-WAN
• Availability for 30% travel to customer offices when necessary
