Senior Non-QM Underwriter

Evaluating complex residential mortgage loan applications, the full-time Senior Non-QM Underwriter will underwrite transactions, analyze borrower financials, and make informed credit decisions while working remotely. Key responsibilities Underwrite complex transactions to ensure compliance with established guidelines for various documentation programs Perform detailed analyses of borrower credit, income, assets, and collateral to assess overall risk and loan eligibility Issue clear and concise loan decisions to business partners while providing exceptional customer service and collaboration Required qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience in Mortgage Lending, with at least 2 years as a NQM Underwriter Encompass experience is required Recent manual underwriting experience in the mortgage industry Proficient in self-employment income calculations and guidelines FHA Chums and/or VA Lapp SAR recommended but not required
