Senior Online Software Engineer Vancouver

As a Senior Online Software Engineer, you will develop the multiplayer backbone for 2K’s next sports title. You will work across UE5 and custom game servers while partnering with designers, artists, and producers. The role emphasizes networking expertise, clean code, testing, and adaptability within a growing organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build real-time multiplayer experiences across UE5 and custom servers
• Solve prediction, synchronization, and latency networking challenges
• Partner across design, art, and production disciplines
• Write clean, performant, well-tested C++ code
• Mentor engineers and conduct code reviews

Requirements:

• Five-plus years of software engineering experience in game development
• Proficiency in C++ and Unreal Engine networking
• Experience developing large-scale multiplayer game features
• Knowledge of distributed server architectures and player transitions
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
