Administer Oracle RAC databases and engineer replication with GoldenGate in a hybrid consulting assignment at 5775 Yonge St. two days weekly.

This Senior Specialized IT Consultant advises clients on information technology and delivers expert database guidance. The work covers Oracle Data Guard, Oracle GoldenGate, CDC, SQL, and PL/SQL. You will define requirements, design systems, and support implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer large-scale Oracle databases on RAC
  • Configure GoldenGate replication from on-premises databases to cloud environments
  • Optimize database performance and protect data integrity
  • Define software, hardware, and network requirements
  • Prepare architecture documentation and knowledge-transfer sessions

Requirements:

  • Hands-on Oracle RAC administration experience
  • Oracle Data Guard and GoldenGate replication experience
  • Understanding of change data capture concepts
  • Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL
  • Knowledge of Oracle Database 19c and Exadata optimization
