Overview

In this role you will manage and optimize the Fusion Middleware stack across multiple Oracle products, contributing to a resilient IT backbone. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to install, configure, and troubleshoot middleware, ensuring smooth migrations, strong security (LDAP/SSO), and reliable operations. The position offers remote-friendly options and exposure to diverse Oracle technologies within a supportive, collaborative culture. You will shape best practices and documentation to sustain high availability and performance.

Responsibilities
  • Install, configure and tune Fusion Middleware and WebLogic environments; undertake upgrades
  • Address problem management through identification, handling and resolution
  • Migrate code across test, QA, and production environments
  • Configure LDAP and SSO for Fusion Middleware and related products (e.g., OAS, EBS, Grid)
  • Tune middleware components (OID, OAM/SSO, OIM, EBS) and develop tuning metrics/alerts
  • Review changes and test in test/QA environments
  • Develop documentation describing current Fusion Middleware configuration
  • Develop best practices
  • Understand High Availability and disaster recovery concepts and setup
  • Database backup and recovery processes
Key requirements
  • 5–10 years of Oracle Identity Management/Governance (OAM, OIM), Oracle Identity Self Service, Oracle Internet Directory, Oracle Cloud Control
  • Minimum 5 years of Oracle Database Administrator experience
  • Experience installing WebLogic/Fusion 11g, 12C, 14C
  • WLST scripting proficiency
  • Knowledge of 11g/12C/14C configurations
  • Experience configuring WebLogic behind a web server (Apache, IIS, Tomcat)
  • Knowledge of EMCC 24AI, 13.x on WebLogic 12C, 14C
  • UNIX shell scripting
  • Combined DBA experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
