Senior PA/QA Engineer

In this role you will lead PA/QA for spaceflight hardware, ensuring high quality across mechanisms and structural components. You will participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and coordinate with suppliers throughout the lifecycle. You’ll verify materials, parts, and processes, and maintain quality documentation. The role is London-based with a short on-site period and requires SC clearance, offering multidisciplinary engineering impact and growth.

• Establish and maintain PA/QA requirements for mechanisms and structural components
• Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and technical boards for non-conformances
• Support materials, mechanical parts, and process selection, including verification and contamination control
• Inspect hardware at various stages (incoming, pre-test, post-test)
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure requirements are met and resolve non-conformances
• Maintain quality management systems and supporting documentation

• Mandatory space industry experience
• 5+ years of experience in PA/QA for regulated manufacturing, preferably spaceflight
• Knowledge of materials, mechanical parts, and space hardware processes
• Experience in testing, verification, and reporting
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience
