Overview

In this role you lead Howden’s People Analytics data delivery, partnering with HR analytics to translate requirements into robust data products and insights. You will steer a team of data specialists, ensuring quality, governance and scalable outputs for senior stakeholders. The role blends strategic direction with hands-on analysis across HR, Finance and Technology stakeholders during a period of organizational change. You will shape the analytics function, driving accurate, trusted insights that support workforce decisions and diversity initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, manage and develop the People Analytics team to build capability and deliver high-quality output
  • Oversee core analytical products (e.g., People Dashboard, DE&I Dashboard) and QA outputs before distribution
  • Translate stakeholder requirements into scalable technical solutions and maintain data governance standards
  • Collaborate with HR-side stakeholders and data business partners to scope and refine requirements
  • Define technical standards, tooling, and governance; own data integrity, confidentiality and security
  • Engage with senior HR and business stakeholders, presenting outputs with clarity
  • Balance hands-on analytics with leadership duties and contribute to complex analyses (attrition, workforce trends, DE&I)
  • Work with HRIS, Finance and IT to ensure data collaboration across source systems
Key requirements
  • Proven experience in data analytics or BI with mentoring/management of a technical team
  • Strong technical skills (SQL, Python, Power BI, Excel or similar)
  • Experience in project-based/consultancy-style delivery
  • Excellent communication to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data governance
  • Comfortable balancing hands-on work with leadership responsibilities
