As a Senior PHP Engineer at Lendable, you will help build and evolve our lending platforms and APIs, contributing to architecture and strategic technical decisions. Responsibilities
  • Build and integrate new APIs to strengthen the customer journey
  • Optimize and scale lending platforms using a modern tech stack
  • Engage in architectural discussions and shape product direction
  • Implement and maintain automated testing to ensure code quality
  • Collaborate in cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions
  • Contribute to the evolution of microservices and domain-driven design initiatives
Key requirements
  • Strong PHP development experience (PHP 8.0+)
  • Proficiency with Symfony or Laravel
  • Experience with Domain Driven Design, Event Sourcing, and Message-Driven Systems is a plus
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture and financial systems a bonus
  • Excellent automated testing skills (unit, integration, functional)
  • High ownership and autonomy in a collaborative environment
  • Experience in a cross-functional environment is a plus
