Senior Platform Engineer

As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will design, build, and operate a production-grade Kubernetes-based AI/ML platform that enables ML engineers and data scientists to deploy and manage models safely at scale. You will extend Kubernetes with MLOps capabilities and create reusable platform services and guardrails. You’ll work closely with data scientists and MLOps engineers to ensure the platform is usable and reliable, while owning operability, security, and lifecycle in production. This role emphasizes hands-on implementation and architectural input to balance flexibility and governance. Join a team focused on building scalable, trustworthy AI infrastructure.

• Design, build, and operate a Kubernetes-based platform supporting multiple ML and engineering teams
• Extend Kubernetes with MLOps-specific capabilities
• Provide platform-level support for model development, packaging, deployment and promotion
• Support scalable inference and LLM-based workloads
• Build shared platform services for repeatable model deployment
• Collaborate with data scientists and MLOps engineers to ensure usability
• Own platform operability, reliability, security, and lifecycle management in production
• Troubleshoot cross-layer issues across infrastructure, Kubernetes and MLOps
• Contribute to architectural decisions while staying hands-on with implementation

• Senior Platform Engineer or Senior DevOps Engineer background
• Hands-on experience building and operating Kubernetes-based platforms
• Proficiency with Helm and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Experience building internal platforms for engineers beyond running workloads
• Strong grasp of monitoring, logging, reliability, incidents, maintainability
• Collaborative with MLOps engineers and data scientists
• ML platform & MLOps knowledge
