Senior Platform Engineer

with extensive experience in Azure cloud infrastructure, IIS administration, CI/CD automation, production support, and platform operations . Skilled in Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Ansible, PowerShell, APIM, Azure SQL Managed Instance , and enterprise application hosting. Proven expertise in managing cloud resources, identities, virtual machines, monitoring platforms, and deployment automation while ensuring high availability, security, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support enterprise applications across Azure and IIS platforms.
• Administer Azure services including APIM, App Services, SQL Managed Instance, Storage Accounts, Key Vaults, Virtual Machines, and Networking .
• Manage Azure Entra ID (Azure AD) identities, access controls, service principals, managed identities, and RBAC permissions.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Ansible for application deployments and configuration management.
• Automate operational and administrative tasks using PowerShell and Ansible .
• Monitor platform and application health using New Relic, Foglight, Azure Data Explorer (ADX), Azure Monitor, and Application Insights .
• Analyze logs, diagnose production issues, and perform root cause analysis to ensure platform stability and performance.
• Lead deployments, platform upgrades, capacity planning, and environment management across Dev, UAT, and Production.
• Troubleshoot application, infrastructure, authentication, networking, and performance-related issues.
• Support incident, change, and release management processes with defined rollback and recovery strategies.
• Implement security, compliance, and access management controls across environments.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, database, and business teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.
