Overview
In this role you will help build and govern a cloud-native platform on Google Cloud to enable rapid, secure product delivery at scale. You will work with a cross-functional platform team to improve reliability, scalability, and security, while driving automation and shared engineering standards. You will shape platform strategy and empower squads through a robust self-service platform in a fast-growing scale-up. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on scalable foundations and meaningful impact across products.

- Ensure reliability, scalability, and security of the Google Cloud Platform estate
- Build and maintain a robust self-service platform for engineering squads
- Shape platform strategy and establish engineering standards
- Champion automation to accelerate delivery and reduce toil
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable secure, efficient product delivery
- Oversee CI/CD practices and tooling within the platform across microservices/API-driven architectures
- Contribute to observability, networking, and AIOps initiatives
- Partner with Engineering Manager to align on cloud platform direction and priorities
- 3+ years hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform
- Strong expertise in CI/CD design and build using GitHub, Terraform or similar
- Experience supporting microservices / API-driven architectures
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, product-led organisations with multiple stakeholders
