Senior Platform Engineer

Location: Toronto, ON - Hybrid

Contract Length: 6-12 Months

We at Raise are hiring a senior-level technology professional to support enterprise-scale cloud transformation, modernization, platform engineering, and digital delivery initiatives. This role includes technical leadership, architectural guidance, stakeholder engagement, and hands‑on delivery expertise.

Key Responsibilities

Lead architecture, design, implementation, and optimization initiatives.

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.

Drive automation, operational excellence, and cloud-native adoption.

Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders.

Develop standards, governance frameworks, and best practices.

Support enterprise modernization and transformation programs.

Required Qualifications

10-15+ years of progressive IT experience.

Experience leading enterprise-scale initiatives.

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Experience working in Agile and SAFe environments.

Ability to mentor engineers and influence technical direction.

Technical Skills

Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Backstage, Java, Spring Boot, TypeScript, React, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, PostgreSQL, Azure Data Factory, OpenTelemetry, and cloud-native architecture patterns as applicable to the role.
