Senior Platform Engineer (AWS)

MCS Group is delighted to be working with a technology-led organisation that is investing heavily in its cloud platform and is looking to appoint a Senior Platform Engineer to its growing engineering team.

This is an opportunity to join a business that's modernising its platform, improving developer experience and building scalable, secure cloud infrastructure using the latest AWS technologies.

You’ll be responsible for...

• Designing and evolving AWS cloud infrastructure
• Driving container platforms using AWS ECS and Docker
• Building Infrastructure as Code with Terraform
• Developing CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions
• Enhancing observability through Datadog
• Creating self-service platform capabilities for engineering teams
• Optimising cloud performance, resilience and cost

You’ll have senior level experience with...

• AWS
• Terraform
• ECS and Docker
• GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD tooling
• Datadog or another enterprise observability platform
• Python or Bash scripting
