Senior Platform Engineer, Cloud Infrastructure

In this Platform Engineer role, you will help build and operate secure, scalable cloud platforms that underpin Wayve’s engineering‑driven AI platform. You’ll work across cloud foundations, IaC, Kubernetes, and observability to enable reliable software delivery and governance. You’ll collaborate with engineering teams to meet their needs and drive incident response and continuous improvement. The role offers hands‑on growth in cloud infrastructure, security, and FinOps within a mission to advance autonomous driving technology.

• Build and operate secure, scalable cloud environments with governance and standards
• Develop Infrastructure-as-Code, automation, and self-service tooling for safe provisioning
• Manage Kubernetes clusters lifecycle, configuration, upgrades, maintenance, and recovery
• Operate shared developer environments and observability platforms to boost productivity
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure platforms meet application needs
• Contribute to incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement of infra practices

• 3 years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes administration, developer infrastructure, or related roles
• Experience with at least one cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform and Ansible)
• Container technologies (Docker or Podman)
• Linux environments (e.g., Ubuntu)
• Networking, cloud architecture, system reliability, and secure access controls
• Experience with Linux, Git, and shell scripting
