Senior Platform Engineer (Infrastructure)

As a Senior Platform Engineer at Fresha, you own how our platform and services are built, deployed, and operated to enable fast, safe, and scalable growth. You’ll reduce operational friction, increase reliability, and provide engineers with effective tools and patterns. Your work directly supports better experiences for customers by improving platform performance and resilience. This role sits at the core of a multi-region, AI-enhanced platform powering a global, self-care ecosystem.

• Define and evolve infrastructure architecture for multi-region deployments
• Design resilient, scalable, and operationally simple systems
• Explore AI-assisted approaches to reduce toil and improve decision-making
• Extend and improve observability across services
• Build tooling for safe deployments and fast rollbacks
• Lead platform initiatives autonomously and drive cross-team projects
• Create documentation, runbooks, and knowledge sharing to uplift teams

• 5+ years building, operating, and troubleshooting production-grade systems with focus on reliability and scalability
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML or LLM-based tools in platform/operational context
• Strong programming and automation skills in Python, Go, or Bash
• Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform
• Experience with AWS (EKS, RDS, S3, CloudFront) or equivalent (GCP/Azure)
• Linux and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, load balancing, VPNs)
• Experience designing or improving observability using Datadog, Grafana, ELK, Sentry, OpsGenie
• Ability to own complex technical problems and drive solutions cross-functionally
• Experience with Claude code
• Ability to communicate clearly and think in systems-wide terms
