Senior Playwright Automation Engineer

Playwright automation expertise drives this remote Canadian contract with Veriday Inc. for a Senior QA Automation Engineer using Node.js.

Veriday Inc. seeks a senior individual contributor to build reliable regression automation in Agile delivery environments. The work combines Playwright, JavaScript or TypeScript, Azure DevOps Test Plans, and CI/CD integration. You will improve manual regression coverage through structured test cases and maintainable automated tests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain Playwright browser regression tests
• Organize test cases and suites in Azure DevOps
• Prioritize automation using business value and execution effort
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and publish results
• Investigate failures, document defects, and support resolution

Requirements:

• Seven or more years of hands-on test automation experience
• Strong Playwright, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js experience
• Experience with reusable components, fixtures, locators, and assertions
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps Test Plans
• Clear communication and ability to work with little supervision
