Senior PLC Automation Programmer

Program PLCs and HMIs as a Senior Automation Programmer in Ramsey, Minnesota, using Structured Text and control system logic. This is a permanent full-time position.

As a Senior Programmer, Automation and Controls, you will analyze user needs, develop programming plans, and design automated systems. The work includes technical drawings, schematics, client-site testing, deployment, documentation, upgrades, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program PLCs and user graphic interfaces
• Develop control system logic using Structured Text
• Analyze user needs and create programming plans
• Design automated systems through technical drawings
• Test, deploy, document, upgrade, and troubleshoot installations

Requirements:

• Minimum five years of similar experience
• Proficiency in PLC programming software
• Experience troubleshooting Structured Text PLC programs
• Ability to write clear technical documents
• Competence executing comprehensive system tests
