Senior / Principal System Engineer

In this Systems Engineer role, you will contribute across the project lifecycle within a Systems Engineering team at Quest Global, working on-site at a customer site in Luton four days per week. You will develop requirements, manage interfaces, and produce key documentation to support design reviews and acceptance. You’ll collaborate with product owners, design authorities, and engineering managers to ensure coherent system designs and verifiable solutions. This position offers an opportunity to grow Quest Global’s systems engineering capability and influence high-reliability projects.

• Create and maintain system documentation across the project lifecycle
• Develop and refine system and subsystem requirements
• Manage requirements for assigned subsystems
• Own features and contribute to agile development
• Communicate system designs to product owner, design authority, and engineering manager
• Generate interface control documentation
• Produce test documentation
• Support internal and external solution acceptance
• Prepare solutions for design reviews and ensure readiness for PDR/CDR/TRR
• Collaborate with software and hardware teams in system engineering activities and workshops
• Support customer meetings and manage subcontractor documentation
• Assist in growing the system engineering capability and support site leadership
• Comply with company policies and procedures
