Senior Private Cloud Engineering Manager

Lead Honeycomb Private Cloud remotely with Kubernetes and AWS fluency, guiding infrastructure delivery for enterprise customers in their environments. As Senior Engineering Manager for the Tenant team, you will own delivery of Honeycomb Private Cloud. You will guide infrastructure, tooling, operational processes, and customer-facing work while coordinating priorities across engineering. The role supports product growth and develops a small, senior team. Key Responsibilities:

Own Private Cloud infrastructure, tooling, and operational processes Partner on proofs of concept, security reviews, and access negotiations Prioritize work across SaaS and Private Cloud engineering teams Build feedback loops between Private Cloud and SaaS infrastructure Grow, hire, onboard, and develop the engineering team Requirements:

Three-plus years managing highly technical senior engineering teams Experience operating production on-call rotations and prioritizing operational health Experience with on-premises, private cloud, BYOC, or single-tenant software Kubernetes and AWS fluency for design and incident reviews Customer-facing experience with enterprise security, access, and procurement Bring engineering leadership, customer partnership, and operational judgment to Honeycomb Private Cloud’s distributed Tenant team.
