Senior Procurement Manager (Digital Services)

As Senior Procurement Manager, you will lead a high-profile procurement function within a major UK infrastructure organization to shape procurement strategy for strategic programmes. You will manage a team, partner with senior stakeholders, and secure compliant, high-value contracts in a regulated environment. The role blends strategic leadership with hands-on procurement, delivering value and standards across the lifecycle. • salary 60,000-66,000 basic
• 40% office-based hybrid model

• Lead and develop a high-performing procurement team across the full lifecycle from strategy to contract delivery
• Create compliant, robust procurement strategies aligned to organisational objectives
• Partner with senior stakeholders to translate needs into market strategies and engagement plans
• Lead contract award activities and negotiate key variations within regulatory frameworks
• Collaborate with contract/commercial experts to resolve procurement challenges and strengthen sourcing
• Monitor legislation and market trends to evolve procurement strategy with senior leadership

• End-to-end procurement experience in a regulated setting
• Knowledge of PCR 2015 and transition to the Procurement Act 2024 and related guidance
• Evidence of market analysis and shaping sourcing strategies for best-value outcomes
• Ability to produce high-quality tender documentation (ITT, RFQ)
• Experience with partnership-style contracting models; NEC experience advantageous
• CIPS (or working towards) preferred
