Overview

As Senior Product Analyst at ASOS, you will lead how data informs product strategy, owning core KPIs and driving measurable growth across the platform. You’ll partner with Product, UX and leadership to identify high-impact opportunities and embed a culture of experimentation. You’ll design and manage A/B tests with rigorous statistics and build scalable analytics to empower product teams. You translate complex data into clear narratives and mentor junior analysts. Responsibilities
  • Lead deep-dive analysis across customer funnels and journeys to identify high-impact opportunities for conversion, engagement, and retention
  • Own the design, execution, and evaluation of A/B tests and experimentation frameworks with statistical rigour and tangible business impact
  • Proactively identify growth opportunities and influence prioritisation through data-led recommendations and experiments
  • Translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences, including leadership
  • Partner with Product Managers and senior stakeholders to define product strategy via data, set clear success metrics and evaluate performance
  • Build and evolve dashboards, reporting, and self-serve analytics to scale insight across product teams
  • Mentor and support junior analysts, contributing to best practices and raising analytical quality
Key requirements
  • Strong analytical mindset with ability to structure ambiguous problems and translate data into actionable insights
  • Solid grounding in statistics, hypothesis testing, and experimental design applicable to product environments
  • Advanced SQL skills and strong Python (pandas, NumPy) experience for large-scale data analysis
  • Proven experience leading A/B testing programmes and influencing product decisions through experimentation
  • Significant experience analysing customer behaviour within digital products or e-commerce, with focus on measurable improvements
  • Strong experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) emphasizing storytelling and stakeholder impact
  • Experience collaborating with Product and influencing senior stakeholders or leadership
