Overview

As Senior Product Owner at ScottishPower, you will own product visions that improve customer journeys and operational experiences. You will drive delivery from concept to measurable results within the Centre of Excellence, collaborating with business and technology teams. You’ll balance long-term strategy with day-to-day delivery to maximise customer impact and business value. This role offers the chance to shape digital and business change at scale in a critical utility environment, contributing to the company’s transformation and sustainability goals. You will work in a cross-functional, data-driven setting with real opportunities to influence products for customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities
  • Define product vision and direction for assigned products
  • Drive delivery from concept to measurable outcomes
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across business and technology to align customer needs with strategic priorities
  • Shape product roadmaps, prioritise opportunities, and lead digital and business change initiatives
  • Coordinate with UX, architecture, development, testing, data, and operations teams to ensure alignment with objectives
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and influence decisions across levels
Key requirements
  • Significant experience in Product Ownership/Management or related business change discipline
  • Track record of taking products from vision to value realization
  • Experience in Agile environments with backlog and roadmap management
  • Experience in utilities, energy, customer operations, contact centres, billing, payments, metering, sales, or digital environments (desirable)
  • Knowledge of enterprise platforms such as SAP IS-U or SAP CRM (desirable)
  • Curiosity, data-driven decision making, and ability to unite teams behind a shared vision
  • Experience with AI-enabled products, ML teams, or Generative AI (advantage)
