Senior Product Owner

We're recruiting a Senior Product Owner for a growing, technology-led trading business.

This Senior Product Owner role will take ownership of a business-critical trading technology product, working across product strategy, product delivery, APIs, data and external supplier relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Own the product strategy, product roadmap and product backlog
• Translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements
• Work directly with software developers and technical stakeholders
• Manage relationships with external suppliers and internal users
• Improve operational processes, monitoring and product performance
• Make pragmatic product decisions when priorities compete
• Support and mentor other Product Owners

What we're looking for

• Product Owner, Senior Product Owner or Product Manager experience
• Experience in trading technology, fintech, B2B technology, APIs, data platforms or real-time systems
• Strong product strategy, roadmap and backlog management skills
• Experience working closely with software development teams
• Commercial supplier or external stakeholder management experience
• Confident decision-making and excellent attention to detail
• A pragmatic, analytical and highly autonomous approach
• Python, Jupyter, API product management or data analysis experience would be advantageous.
